Heartstart UK in the community

The North West Ambulance Service supports the Heartstart initiative by encouraging First Responders to provide Heartstart courses for their communities. Many of these schemes are open to the general public and are all free. The course lasts for up to two hours and provides very practical ‘hands-on’ learning. They can be attended by all.

Are you a member of a group that has  around 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours to spare to learn what to do in an emergency and save a life?

We have trained WI, running clubs, scouts, guides, church groups, canoe clubs… How about Your club? Your family? Your workplace?  If you have the space and at least 4-6 people we can train you!

Elizabeth and her colleagues deliver free Heartstart courses for the community
in Greater Manchester as part of this scheme.
To arrange a Heartstart course for your group/family/neighbours/work colleagues etc,

Children can attend these courses: Elizabeth has full CRB/DBS and
other relevant clearance and experience to work with children and adults, so don't let childcare responsibilities
put you off attending a course that could save a life.
